WELCOME
Welcome to the beautiful City of LaFollette, located in the upper east part of Tennessee. You have entered the web site of one of the best places in America to live. Surrounded by the majestic Cumberland Mountains and hundreds of miles of Norris Lake shoreline, LaFollette is the economic and cultural center of Campbell County. LaFollette’s Recreation Department serves as the recreational center for all ages.
With a strong history deep in coal mining life and culture this City has grown geographically and economically into a modern small town of friendly citizens where the crime rate is low and good morals and ethics are sources of pride. With a Police Department and Fire Department second to none the residents can relax knowing they and their belongings are adequately protected.
Please consider our fair City when you plan your next vacation or short trip. Whether you like mountain climbing, hang gliding, hiking, ATV riding, camping or any water sport you will certainly find it here in and around LaFollette. Several large marinas in the area are prepared to supply your every wish involving the water. So bring your boats, skis, and jet skis and spend some quality time with us, or leave yours behind and rent equipment and lodging at one of these great marinas.
Regardless of your tastes I believe you will take a liking to our way of life. Our hospitality will make you feel right at home. I look forward to seeing you soon. Please call me if I or any members of my staff can offer any assistance while you visit.
Sincerely,
David G. Young
