MAYOR

Mayor: Cliff Jennings

Cliff JenningsMayor Cliff Jennings was born on September 14, 1949.  He is the son of the Rev. John L. and Hazel (Jones) Jennings and the grandson of Oscar and Thelma (Crabtree) Jennings and Lum and Bertha (Hatfield) Jones.  Mayor Jennings is a LaFollette High School Graduate, class of 1967, and a graduate of the Caryville Vocational and Technical School, class of 1969.  Mayor Jennings is also a Vietnam veteran and served with the 9th Infantry Division.  Rebecca Goins Davis is his companion and love of his life.  Mayor Jennings has two sons, Cliff Jennings Jr, and Colt Jennings, and one daughter, Rebekah Jennings.  He currently has no grandchildren.  Mayor Jennings is now serving his fourth term as Mayor, and has previously served two terms on City Council.

Deputy Mayor: Ken Snodderly, DPh

Ken SnodderlyKen was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  His parents were the late Zen Snodderly, an engineer with the Tennessee Valley Authority, and the late Lucille Price Snodderly, who served as Vice President of Peoples National Bank.  After the death of his father, Ken and his mother moved to Campbell County when he was 8 years of age.  He attended West LaFollette Elementary School and LaFollette Junior High School.  He graduated from LaFollette High School and the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in Memphis, Tennessee.  After active duty in the Tennessee Air National Guard, Ken returned to LaFollette to live and practice pharmacy.  He is married to Betty Siler Snodderly, Administrator of the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce.  Ken and Betty are the parents of John Snodderly who resides in LaFollette and Amy Snodderly Lusby of Chanhassen, Minnesota.  Ken and Betty also have two grandchildren, Cooper and Ian Lusby also of Chanhassen, Minnesota.  Ken’s affiliations past and present include:

  • Contributor to the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors Bulletin
  • Acknowledged for contribution to two published works about the Connecticut Wood Movement Clock.
  • Chair, Regional Convention of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.

Ken is now serving his second term as a member of the LaFollette City Council.
