Full-Time Fire Fighter

This will be a full-time position, working 24hours on 48 hours off. The job comes with a competitive full-benefit package, including employer sponsored health insurance, paid time off, and TCRS retirement.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to communicate with multiple people at any given time.
- Ability to multitask.
- Computer savvy and able to type quickly and accurately.
- Prior dispatching duties preferred.
- Receives and transmits routine and emergency messages via radio telephone, and other means forthe police department, fire department, rescue squad, ambulance service, water department, and other agencies or personnel.
- Ability to converse plainly and directly in a courteous and friendly manner with a variety ofindividuals, and to give verbal instructions and /or emotional support to callers until properauthorities arrive if needed.8. Communicates effectively with the public, ascertains facts, answers questions, and refers hem to the appropriate personnel.
- Monitors all alarms and dispatches proper service response.
- Ability to understand and follow with written and oral instructions including department policies and procedures.
- Ability to react quickly and calmly in emergency situations and follow proper policies and procedures, along with the ability to type accurately.
